This is what we believe to be an early Victorian, hand-blown, Continental, glass tumbler dating from the early to mid 19th century, c1840. 
 
The glass is in excellent condition for its age.  This means, of course, that it shows the age related wear and tear to both the rim of the bowl and to the rim of the foot consistent with some 170 years of use.  
 
The glass has a bucket-shaped bowl measuring 10.5 cm (4.2 inches) in diameter at the rim.   The bowl is etched with a series of three naive three-masted ships between circular cartouches.   The bowl ends in a base which measures 7.8 cm (3.1 inches) in diameter and carries a rough pontil mark.  The glass is 13.2 cm (5.3 inches) in...

Late Georgian Bohemian engraved tumbler

This is what we believe to be an engraved, Georgian, tapered glass tumbler dating from the start of the 19th century, c1820, and probably originating in Bohemia.  
 
The glass is in excellent condition for its age.  This means, of course, that it shows the age related wear and tear to both the rim of the bowl and to the rim of the foot consistent with some 200 years of use.  
 
The glass has a bucket-shaped bowl measuring 9.8 cm (3.9 inches) in diameter at the rim.   The bowl is engraved with swags and tails and a medial floral band and is cut with bands of extended vertical olives to the lower quarter.   The leaf-like designs have also been polished.  The thick...
