Early Victorian, large, engraved and gadrooned tankard

This is what we believe to be a large, early Victorian, English, engraved tankard or ale mug dating from the middle of the 19th century, c1850.  
 
The tankard is in excellent condition for its age.  This means, of course, that it shows age related wear and tear to the rim of the foot and to the edge of the bowl rim consistent with some 150+ years of age and use. 
 
The glass has a baluster shaped bowl which is 9.8 cm (3.9 inches) in diameter at the everted rim.  The bowl is wheel-engraved with the letter "P" within a cartouche of cut blazes.  The bowl is gadrooned to the lower quarter, with applied trailing to just below the bowl rim, which sits above broad panel cutting....

Late Georgian engraved Continental tankard, hollow handle

This is what we believe to be a mould-blown, late Georgian, engraved glass mug or tankard dating from the early 19th century, c1810.  The design, hollow handle and engraving would suggest a Low Countries origin.
 
The tankard is in excellent condition for its age.  This means, of course, that it shows age related wear and tear to both the rim of the bowl and to the rim of the foot consistent with some 200 years of use.  
 
The tankard has a barrel-shaped bowl measuring 7.5 cm (3 inches) in diameter at the rim.  The bowl is engraved with a pastoral scene of two birds contesting a piece of straw among foliage.  A band of foliage is also engraved under the rim.  The lower quarter...

This is what we believe to be a hand-blown, Victorian, engraved glass mug or tankard dating from the mid 19th century, c1850.  
 
The tankard is in excellent condition for its age.  This means, of course, that it shows age related wear and tear to both the rim of the bowl and to the rim of the foot consistent with some 150 years of use.  
 
The tankard has a bucket-shaped bowl measuring 8.8 cm (3.5 inches) in diameter at the rim.  The upper half of the bowl is engraved with a band of foliage and is also engraved under the rim with a wavy line.  The lower half of the tankard is cut with broad flutes.  The base of the tankard is 9.8 cm (3.9 inches) in diameter and sports a...
